Mia gets vaxxed

Twitter came through for our Mia Malan. After receiving her first Pfizer jab at the Dischem in Fourways she heard through the Twitter grapevine that a drive-through vaccination site had been set up at the Houghton Masjid.

Joan gets vaxxed

Our senior health reporter Joan van Dyk got her jab at Parkhurst’s Recreation Centre on August 6. Joan was in and out in no time with the queue moving swiftly.
Our Joan felt a bit of pain in her arm at the injection site and fatigue kicked in after her shot, but after a day, her side-effects had subsided.
